As humanity expands into the solar system, the new land we inhabit is built rather than discovered.

Here we explore what form some of these structures might take.

Long ago explorers from a distant planet traveled the stars seeking wisdom. Now, there descendants attempt to recover that glorious past to save their world from crisis.

Installed in Meow Wolf’s Denver exhibit, the Eemian Navigators are massive multi-media experience. The project was conceptualized and fabricated over a 3 year period, and draws on such diverse disciplines as projection mapping, digital fabrication, and architecture.

Advanced machinery is the basis of civilization. From bolder dreams emerge more intricate machines, who’s activity transforms the world, whether those dreams are fantasies or nightmares.

The sorts of mechanisms imagined here are largely involved in heavy industry, and may be exposed to dangerous conditions. Sketches and collage form a basis for later modeling and rendering.

The storytelling in this project begins with careful design work. The tone is magical, yet grounded in real science. Maintaining that visual balance is key.

A clandestine corporate project has opened a gateway to a parallel universe. Their quest for profit brings them dangerously close to powerful alien secrets.

This Meow Wolf installation in Las Vegas, NV, was more narratively integrated than some of our other projects. Therefor, we took a more modular approach to designing the characters, creatures, and props.

Our world is full of stories, and as we move through it, the boundaries between narrative and reality is blurred.

These are a few of the characters and stories that remain somewhat undefined. Still, dreams are the seeds of future reality.
